The League of Human Dignity
seeks a full-time Services Coordinator to work from our Omaha
Office with adults with disability. Services Coordinators assist
people with disability to remain in their home and community by
coordinating an array of services that support the individual
in becoming and remaining as independent as possible. We are seeking
a talented and highly motivated individual who has a sincere desire
to assist people.
As a Services Coordinator
you will determine the eligibility of applicants for the Nebraska
Medicaid Waiver Program for Adults with Disability, conduct a
needs assessment, and in conjunction with Consumers develop a
plan of services. You would assist to recruit independent in home
providers, negotiate rates, authorize, and monitor services. This
is not an exhaustive description of job duties.
In order to be considered
for this position, you must have a Baccalaureate degree in relevant
area of Human Services, and 2 years full-time
experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, or community health
fields are required. Services Coordination will be provided in
Consumers’ homes, so travel throughout the League’s Omaha Service
area is required. Applicants must also be proficient in the use
of computers and various computer software programs. You will
be expected to provide your own transportation, and we will reimbursement
you on a per mile basis. Qualified individuals with disability

The League of Human Dignity
is seeking a full-time person to manage a quality assurance program
and perform file reviews to assure the delivery of high quality
services to people with disability. The purpose of the quality
assurance program is to assure that direct service staff are following
applicable regulations, policies, and best practices in the provision
of services to people who experience disability.
In addition, this manager
currently supervises one employee in this program, and collaborates
with other managers to coordinate training for staff to assist
in skill development. The Education and Quality Assurance Manager
serves as a member of the League of Human Dignity’s Management
A minimum of a Baccalaureate
Degree in education, adult education, human services, or a related
field, plus 2 years human services management experience;
including supervision, is required. Experience working in the
disability field. and knowledge of Centers for Independent Living,
and Nebraska’s Medicaid Waiver for Adults with Disability is preferred
Applicants must be well
organized, efficient, and effective in managing their workload
and time Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to tactfully
and effectively manage conflict, and excellent customer skills
are critical to success in this position.
This position is based
in the League’s Lincoln Office. Some travel is required, and employee’s
must provide their own means of travel. Generous mileage reimbursement
